Method

For each operator, the prepaid mobile data plans with monthly validity (at least 30 days) are read from their public tariffs, excluding conditional bonuses (night data, social networks, IzyTV, Orange Money or Mvola). The cheapest plan offering at least 4 GB is kept and its price per gigabyte is computed (price ÷ volume). The market figure is the average of these prices across operators. USD and EUR conversions use the Banque centrale de Madagascar reference rate. Measured every day, with the same rule for every operator.
